TAWLA Meeting with Stakeholders on Trans Fat Acid Diseases

In continuing to make advocacy aimed at reducing the increase in cardiovascular diseases in the East African region, Tanzania Women Lawyers Association (TAWLA) in collaboration with Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and the GHAI Organization, we have met the East African Community Health Department (EAC Health Department).

The aim of our meeting is to discuss the importance of having a regional regulation aimed at controlling the level of Trans Fat Acid which is a major source of heart and blood vessel diseases.
